Lessons and Journeys

Lessons and Journeys bring all the basic training tools and drills together in a structured format that lead to you learning how to play a specific song.

There are 50+ songs built into Harmonova and you even add and share your own lessons. So if you’re an instructor you can give your students homework!

Lessons

Clicking on any lesson will bring up the drills that have been created to help you learn how to play your selected song.

It’s recommended to run through the drills in order as they each showcase the skills you’ll need for the complete song. However you can choose to do the drills in any order you like or even just jump straight into the song.

Finally you can click on the “Export as editable lessson” button if you ever want to change the lesson. Maybe you want a custom drill or maybe you want to share a different approach with someone.

Journeys

With 50+ lessons it can be hard to know where to start. That’s where Journeys come in. Journeys are curated sets of lessons to get you going quickly and accurately.

Clicking on a Journey will show you the lessons in the journey:

Clicking the top button will start the journey and your on your way to learning the Harmonica.
